In Cuernavaca, Mexico, Elizabeth Marroquín has developed a preschool for children from squatter housing along an old railroad track. In the past the children from these homes had consistently failed in school, but now they are excelling when they enter first grade. Older children come to the Good Earth Educational Center for after school tutoring, and the children's mothers gather here once a week for classes in the evening.

The Good Earth Educational Center is presently raising funds to build an additional classroom. They now have three small classrooms and an after-school study room for elementary school students.
